LOOKING FOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (FULL-TIME)
ABOUT US:
We are one of the leading distributors of quality products in Canada. We are currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in our laboratory.
Laboratory Technician needs to operate small auto-sensitive machines under the supervision of our Laboratory Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for batching ingredients and finished products to ensure correct composition and to identify any quality control issues that need to be corrected.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Operate small machines, volumetric & quality controls
• Perform quality control tests on ingredients, completed products
• Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment in preparation for specific task
• Maintenance & cleaning of all tools being used during the batching process
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Very high attention to detail - being able to work without mistakes
• To be able to follow quality control procedures in place which guarantee a safe product
• Experience in a high-volume production environment / laboratory
• Experience working in a clean and sanitized laboratory
• Team player with organizational skills
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 20 cages)
• Science degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar
