Position Description
This is a chance to join as Part of a Digital Transformation team for eSignatures application development across all lines of business for our banking Client.
The initial project is a significant effort to move to a new digital platform for eSignatures. The POC is complete and you would be involved with integrating this new digital platform across multiple lines of business. This would involve expanding the solution based on the POC and then delivering in the development utilizing spring boot microservices with Rest APIs.
Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Java Developer will design and develop a variety of Java applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts in this digital environment.
• Designing and building high quality Java applications that are highly scalable and extensible
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Deliver a high level of commitment to client success and provide timely and quality services that meet or exceed expectations
• Work with business partners to provide guidance and support in the deployment of complex application solutions
• Participates in R&D activities to advance the development of the product roadmap
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Extensive experience with Java utilizing Spring Boot
• Knowledge of API Frameworks
• Experience with Cloud Technologies
• Good understanding of development methodologies
• Proven track record with code deployments
• Ability to work effectively in a team, be self-motivated and a team player
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals
• Experience with SDLC/PMLC methodologies
